Our Story

The Story Behind Lemon's Dog Cookies

When Lemon, a Newfie mix, was adopted from Ohio Lab Rescue, she arrived having lost nearly all of her fur, with sore, sensitive skin and ears that had essentially closed up. Beneath all that pain, her gentle, trusting spirit never disappeared.

Because Lemon had so many allergies and sensitivities, store-bought treats weren't always safe. We wanted her to enjoy cookies like every other dog, so we began baking them ourselves, carefully choosing every ingredient. That is how Lemon's Dog Cookies began.

Little by little, Lemon healed. Her skin improved, her fur grew back, and she blossomed into a confident, joyful companion. Every cookie we make carries a piece of her story, and our hope that each treat brings another dog the same happiness Lemon found.
